Yosemite 3 Day Camping Tour

Day 1: San Francisco - Yosemite National Park

After meeting up on O'Farrell Street at 8:15 am, we'll board a minibus and leave San Francisco behind in the direction of Yosemite National Park. We'll make a stop on the four-hour journey to stretch our legs and enjoy a short walk through the giant sequoias that are the largest living things on the planet. Some of them are over a thousand years old! You'll have the opportunity to buy lunch before we continue onwards into the national park.

Having reached our destination, you'll have free time to admire the landscapes of Yosemite Valley before we head to the campsite to set up our tents for the night. We'll end the day with drinks around the campfire and discussing our plans for the coming days.

Day 2: May Lake - Mount Hoffmann

On day two, we'll wake up bright and early and prepare a hearty breakfast to build up our energy before embarking on a hiking route to May Lake. The effort will be well worth it as we take in the views of the lake and Mount Hoffmann, the dramatic mountain that overlooks it.

You'll then have two options: climb to the top of Mount Hoffmann or spend the rest of the day near the lake enjoying a picnic. You decide! In the afternoon, we'll return to the camp and have dinner by the light of the fire. 

Day 3: Yosemite Valley - San Francisco

We'll have our last breakfast of the tour before taking down our tents ready for the final day of adventure. Heading back to Yosemite Valley, you can choose to spend the day as you please: hiking, relaxing by the Merced River or - between May and July - you can even choose to go white water rafting on the river (not included).

At the end of an unforgettable three day camping trip in Yosemite National Park, we'll head back to San Francisco, where you'll be dropped off at around 9 pm.

Accommodation

This three-day tour includes two nights' full-board accommodation in tents. Meals are included, but we will all have to collaborate to cook. The price indicated is per person staying in a tent for two people. If you reserve for one person, you will share the space with another traveller. You can bring your own sleeping bag or reserve one for an additional cost of US$ 20.
