Muir Woods and Wine Country Tour

After picking you up from your hotel first thing in the morning (between 7:30 and 8:30 am), we’ll leave the city behind and head north, crossing the Golden Gate Bridge on our way.

On the journey to Muir Woods, you’ll learn about the world’s largest trees, the Sequoia sempervirens, more commonly known as Redwood trees. Once in the National Monument, you’ll have an hour of free time to explore the forest and its natural treasures at your leisure.  

We’ll then continue our trip north towards the Sonoma Valley, the heart of the Californian wine industry. Before lunch, we’ll visit our first vineyard and try its wines. Then, we’ll make our way to Sonoma Plaza, where you’ll have an hour to get lunch and explore the historical plaza.

After lunch, we’ll then head into Napa Valley, where we’ll visit two wineries. While you admire the rolling green scenery, you’ll also be able to enjoy a wine tasting of different Californian wines.

Once you’ve tried these excellent wines, we’ll make out way back to San Francisco, accompanied by incredible views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. We’ll drop you back at your hotel at around 6:30 pm.

Tour with Lunch

If you would like to complete your experience with a local food tasting, you can choose the option which also includes lunch. You’ll enjoy a delicious three-course meal accompanied by local wines at a restaurant located in the heart of Sonoma Plaza. There is no extra charge for children, but rather you will have to pay for what they eat when at the restaurant.

Hotel Pick Up

This tour includes hotel pick up from most hotels located in the centre of San Francisco and in Fisherman’s Wharf. If you are not staying in one of these hotels, we’ll confirm a meeting location with you once you’ve made your booking.
