The Wax Museum at Fisherman’s Wharf opened its doors to the public in 1963 and was remodeled in the year 2000; it is a museum with more than 275 famous people arranged into sections:
The wax museum leaves plenty to be desired. The figures seem to be made of plastic rather than of wax and any similarity with reality is pure coincidence. The figures in the Wax Museum are notably worse than those of museums such as Madam Tussauds of New York.
